Fedora
Fedora 13 was released May 2010.
Fedora is part of Red Hat, but a separate, free
distribution. Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a conservative very
stable and easily maintained distribution with a design life of
seven years. Fedora on the other hand is far more innovative and
has a release cycle of about six months.
Red Hat has an extensive commercial and
technical userbase. Fedora is aimed at the hobbyist and
developer. CentOS is designed to be a free version of Red Hat.
