You are in using standard unix system right
now, the Internet. That is why the Internet uses the unix "/"
instead of the Microsoft "\" to separate directories. The Copyleft
site is hosted by an Internet Service Provider (ISP) who uses Linux
as its operating system. There is a good chance that your ISP is
doing the same.
It is common practice to link MS Window machines by a Linux
network. An increasing number of schools and tertiary institutions
are doing this and some are now starting to use Linux for their
desktop machines.
Many people and organisations are using open source applications
which have been ported from Linux to MS Windows. Hagley
